Adopt your new best friend!

Do you refresh your Twitter feed multiple times per day, hoping to see cute Minter Babies appear on your timeline?

Do you have Shannon’s timeline bookmarked on more than one device?

Have you always wanted to adopt a pet from rural Texas?

HAVE WE GOT AN ADOPTION FORM FOR YOU!

That’s right, we are formally kicking off Minter Baby Adoptions!

If you follow Shannon you probably know that this has been a very busy summer, what with two feral moms contributing seven kittens to the clowder, not to mention the multiple strays that were rescued over the past year – many of whom need a home.

If you’re interested in adopting a Minter Baby, please fill out this form. The Minterland Adoption Committee will review all applications and make a final determination as to the best home for each Minter Baby.

Please keep in mind that we may receive multiple applications for the same Minter Baby (or Babies!) and that the Adoption Committee will keep each cat or dog’s unique personality and needs in mind when we choose adopters. For that reason, we cannot promise that the kitty or pup you’re interested in will be placed in your home and we encourage you to consider all the available Minter Babies when you apply.

We’re putting together a dedicated adoption page, but here’s the current list of adoptable Minter Babies

  • Haley Mills’s Tabby Trio (cats) – they must be adopted together!
  • Sally, Omar and Sharif (cats) – they must be adopted together!
  • Feral mom and 4 of her five kittens (tabby girl with the white tipped tail has already been spoken for) – they can be adopted separately, or the kittens can be adopted in pairs (highly recommended, if you do not already have a young cat in your household)
  • Andy Panda – he can be adopted alone, or with Grayson
  • Grayson – he can be adopted alone, or with Andy Panda

We are currently accepting applications from potential homes in the United States. If your application is approved by the Minterland Adoption Committee, we will work with you to transport your new friend to your home. All pets will be vetted and chipped prior to transporting them to your home, where we know they will be loved and cherished as they deserve.

Minterland would like to extend our gratitude to our friend and fellow rescuer, Caroleena, who provided us with the form template. If you’d like to express your thanks for her help, please consider a donation to Beautiful Together Animal Sanctuary, an organization that has helped her in the past, and one which could really use our help.
